The Conference of Presidents of the Greek Parliament will launch the procedures for the revision of the Constitution on June 4.

Letters will be sent to all parties represented in Parliament, inviting them to appoint their representatives to the inter-party committee that will undertake the processing of the proposals that will be tabled. Their number will be proportional to their number of seats.

After the three-day deadline for the appointment of committee members, the Plenary of the House will meet to approve the timetable of the debate.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that ruling New Democracy had submitted its own proposal for the revision.
