Terrorists Kill Zamfara Resident While Defending Family, Abduct Four Relations Including Children

A resident of the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, identified as Sagir Umar, has been killed by bandits while attempting to protect his family during a late-night attack on his home on Monday, SaharaReporters has learnt.

Family sources told SaharaReporters that the attackers stormed the community on Monday night and targeted Umar's residence, leading to a confrontation that ended in his death.

According to a family member, Umar was shot and killed while trying to prevent the assailants from taking away his relatives.

"Sagir Umar was killed when he was trying to save his family," the source said.
