A child's body has been recovered from the rubble of an apartment building destroyed by a Russian strike in Dnipro, with the death toll rising to nine.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Rescuers recovered the body of a child born in 2023 from under the rubble of a four-story building destroyed in the attack. Last night, Russians killed eight people in Dnipro," he said.
Later, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that the number of people killed in the Russian attack on Dnipro had increased to nine, with 35 injured and six people reported missing.
Overall, Klymenko stated that 13 people were killed and more than 100 injured across Ukraine as a result of the combined Russian strike, with the most severe destruction of civilian infrastructure in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv.
