The death toll from a Russian missile strike on the city of Dnipro has risen to six, while 29 people have been injured.
Oleksandr Hanzha, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced the updated casualty figures on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to Hanzha, Russian forces launched more than 60 attacks over the course of the day on four districts of the region using drones and a missile. A total of 35 people were injured in the attacks.
In Dnipro, six people were killed and 29 others were wounded. The strike damaged an industrial enterprise, a vocational school, private homes, and vehicles.
In the Nikopol district, the towns and communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, Tomakivka, and Pokrovske came under attack. An administrative building, a gas station, shops, private homes, and a vehicle were damaged.
