One person has been killed and the number of injured has risen to nine following a Russian strike on the city of Dnipro.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported this on Telegram.

"A man was killed. Nine people were injured. These are the consequences of the strikes that the Russians carried out against Dnipro this morning," Hanzha wrote.

It is reported that eight of the injured are currently being treated in hospitals. Doctors assess their condition as moderate. One other person will receive treatment at home.
