Nigeria’s Raw Materials Council Workers Lament Eight Months’ Salary Withheld By DG Over Union Activities

Workers of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) have raised concerns, lamenting the alleged withholding of their eight months’ salaries and allowances by the Director-General of the agency, Prof. Ike Muonso, over their involvement in union activities.

Speaking with SaharaReporters, the Interim Chairman of the RMRDC unit of the new union platform under the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU), Mr Ikhaghu Joseph, lamented that he has not received his salaries for eight months, a situation he said has worsened his health condition and plunged his family into hardship.
