A meeting between Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy and Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev drew attention after details emerged not through official institutions, but via a post on the social media platform X. The visit had not been publicly announced in advance by Bulgarian authorities.

The encounter was one of two unpublicized high-level meetings reported on the same Saturday. Around the same time, another undisclosed engagement surfaced involving President Iliana Yotova, former New York Mayor and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and the US Ambassador to Greece. That meeting also did not appear in official presidential communications.

According to the Newsmax post, Ruddy met Radev in Sofia and later described the Bulgarian leader in strongly positive political terms. The outlet quoted him saying: “A new leader for Europe: positive, strong, pro-NATO, pro-American, pro-Trump, pro-Israel.”
