The new Collector for Namakkal district assumed office on Sunday (May 31). L. Madhubalan, the Commissioner of Tiruchi Corporation, was recently transferred and posted as Namakkal District Collector. On Sunday, Mr. Madhubalan assumed office as the District Collector. Officials from various departments greeted the New Collector. He is replacing Durgamoorthi. Mr. Madhubalan earlier served as Corporation Commissioner in Thoothukudi and Madurai municipal corporations and as Additional Collector (Development) in Cuddalore and Erode districts.
