As part of its commitment to community development and educational infrastructure enhancement, BPCL authorities have laid the foundation stone for the construction of an open dining shed at the government primary school at Tiruvadhavoor in the district.According to a press release issued here on Sunday, BPCL, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, will set up the facility at a cost of ₹7.83 lakh.The proposed dining shed is aimed at providing students with a safe, hygienic and comfortable space for having food, particularly under the midday meal scheme.The facility would offer protection from adverse weather conditions and contribute to a more conducive environment for students’ well-being and learning.Secretary to Kerala government M.G. Rajamanickam laid the stone in the presence of BPCL Head (Retail) Nitin Selukar.Senior BPCL officials, including General Manager Kannabiran, Territory Manager Parameswaran, Ankit Khaitan, and others participated.The project reflects BPCL’s continued commitment to creating meaningful social impact and improving the quality of life in the communities it serves.Upon completion, the dining shed will serve as a valuable addition to the school’s facilities and benefit generations of students in the village, the release said.
