MANILA, Philippines — Typhoon Domeng (international name: Jangmi) slightly intensified on Sunday afternoon as it moved north-northwest over the Philippine Sea east of Batanes, the state weather bureau said.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) 5 p.m. typhoon bulletin, Domeng was last located 650 kilometers east-northeast of Basco, Batanes.

It carries maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph while moving north-northwest at 15 kph.
