ANGELES CITY — Sanitation teams conducted misting and fogging operations at the site of the nine-storey building that collapsed in Barangay Balibago in Angeles City on Saturday, May 30.

These activities are meant to maintain sanitation and prevent potential health risks while response operations are ongoing.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin II gave the order amid concerns over the prolonged presence of responders, volunteers and residents around the disaster zone.

According to the city government, the sanitation measures aim to protect the health of personnel working at ground zero, as well as residents of nearby communities affected by the incident.
