Short-term rain showers, local thunderstorms, and wind gusts of up to 20 m/s are expected across Ukraine over the weekend of May 30-31.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center stated this on its website.
"Most regions will experience brief rain showers, while on May 30 some areas in southern and eastern Ukraine may see thunderstorms. Northwesterly winds of 5-10 m/s are expected, with gusts of 15-20 m/s possible in parts of the southwest during the day on May 30. Nighttime temperatures will range from 4°C to 11°C, while daytime temperatures will be 12-19°C. In Zakarpattia and across Ukraine on June 1, temperatures will reach 18-24°C," the weather service said.
Forecasters specified that on Saturday, brief rain showers are expected throughout the country, with isolated thunderstorms in southern and eastern regions during the day. No precipitation is forecast overnight in Zakarpattia and eastern Ukraine.
Winds will be predominantly northwesterly at 5-10 m/s, with gusts reaching 15-20 m/s in some southwestern areas during the day.
