Two people have been arrested and released on bail, reports Chronicle Live.‌The man has been arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of a child, and the woman has been arrested on suspicion of neglect.A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Shortly after 1.45pm yesterday (Thursday), we received a report via the ambulance service of concern for the welfare of a baby in the Gateshead area.
