A woman has been arrested after a seven-month-old baby girl allegedly fell from a window on a quiet residential street in Greater Manchester. Emergency services attended Gloucester Avenue in Whitefield, Bury, on Monday evening, with an air ambulance seen landing at nearby Victoria Park. Greater Manchester Police said a seven-month-old girl was taken to hospital and a woman was arrested on suspicion of child neglect.The woman's relationship to the baby and her age are not yet known. It is understood that police and paramedics were called to the scene after reports of a baby falling from a window. The infant's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
