MANILA, Philippines – DHL Express Philippines is counting on smaller businesses to boost shipment volumes this year, amid global trade disruptions and Middle East tensions.
“It’s not a perfect environment in the Philippines so far,” said Roderick Queppet, vice president for commercial at DHL Express Philippines, at a media roundtable on Friday. “But what we are excited about is that SMEs actually contribute significantly to our growth.”

“A lot of our SMEs are now starting to export to the world through cross-border trading,” he added.
