It is now about survival, economic power, energy security, food systems, debt, and the future of developing countries. For Africa, and especially for Nigeria, the debate is no longer whether climate finance matters. The real question is whether the continent can assertively and strategically demand its fair share of global climate capital even as climate vulnerability deepens poverty, instability, and economic inequality.
