Korea will showcase a wide range of its literature in Paris next week, from classics to contemporary genres, such as science fiction and "healing" fiction, organizers said Friday, as the two countries mark 140 years of diplomatic relations.

The Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea) said it will host the program from Tuesday to Friday under the theme "Korean Literature Beyond Time."

The events will include author talks, workshops, lectures and cultural performances aimed at introducing the diversity of Korean literature to French audiences.

From Tuesday to Thursday, discussions between Korean and French writers and picture book workshops will be held at the Korean Cultural Center in France and a media library in Issy-les-Moulineaux, a southwestern suburb of Paris.
