Lagos State Drivers Institute has opened two additional training centres in Oshodi and Apapa as part of efforts to meet rising demand for driver education and road safety training across the state.
The new facilities are located at the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Secretariat in Oshodi and at No. 5, Adele Road, off Warehouse Road, Apapa.
Speaking during an inspection of the centres, the General Manager of LASDRI, Afusat Tiamiyu, said the locations were strategically selected because of the intense traffic conditions and high vehicular activity along the Oshodi and Apapa corridors.
She said motorists operating within the areas require specialised training to safely navigate dense traffic, avoid road accidents and comply with traffic regulations.
