Early voting for the June 3 local elections and parliamentary by-elections began simultaneously at 3,571 polling stations nationwide on Friday morning. As of 8 a.m., voter turnout was 0.99 percent.
Early voting will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Unlike on the official Election Day, voters may cast ballots at any polling station nationwide regardless of their registered address.

To participate in early voting, voters must bring identification issued by a government office or public institution, such as a resident registration card, passport or driver’s license. The identification must include both a photograph of the voter and their date of birth.
