General Shaibu stated this during the Chief of Army Staff Eid-el-Kabir Luncheon for troops of 81 Division and their families held at the Headquarters 81 Division Garrison Parade Ground, Dodan Barracks, Lagos State.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Waidi Shaibu, has asked troops across various theatres of operation to show more loyalty and resilience in the ongoing fight against terrorism, insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, oil theft and other forms of criminality threatening the country.
General Shaibu stated this during the Chief of Army Staff Eid-el-Kabir Luncheon for troops of 81 Division and their families held at the Headquarters 81 Division Garrison Parade Ground, Dodan Barracks, Lagos State.
Represented by the Corps Commander, Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps, Major General Abdullahi Ibrahim, the army chief said the sacrifices of troops had continued to "drive the operational successes recorded by the Nigerian Army across the country."
Lt General Shaibu also urged officers and soldiers to remember and honour fallen heroes who paid the supreme price in defence of the nation, especially during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
