TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL, Philippines — A blooming pink trumpet tree near a mall in this city has become an instant attraction, with many residents flocking to the area to take photos and admire what some describe as a “little piece of Japan” in Bohol.
The tree, located on a vacant lot, recently burst into vibrant pink blossoms after years of not flowering, catching the attention of motorists, pedestrians, and social media users.
Many people initially thought the tree resembled Japan’s iconic cherry blossoms because of its delicate pink flowers and picturesque appearance.
