The federal budget put the NDIS at the centre of its savings task.The budget booked $37.8 billion in NDIS savings over four years. It is the single largest line in the treasurer’s savings package. It assumes scheme growth can be forced down to about 2 per cent a year for the next four years, from a run-rate above 10 per cent.
