The appeal comes months after SaharaReporters reported how the Onyeka family accused the Cross River State judiciary of shielding suspects allegedly involved in the killing of Princewill Ikenna, who was murdered in Ikom in September 2023.

The family of a murdered member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Princewill Ikenna, has again cried out for justice, accusing the Cross River State judiciary of frustrating efforts to prosecute suspects linked to the killing.

In a fresh appeal made available to SaharaReporters, a concerned individual identified simply as John urged authorities to intervene in the stalled murder case, alleging that the suspects have been moving freely despite the gravity of the crime.

“Thanks so much for your sacrifice, fighting against inhumanity to man,” the message partly read.

“Please, there is a young man of Redeemed Church of God, Ikom, murdered in 2023. One of the suspects vanished with his car the same night for Lagos. It was later tracked and discovered in a mechanic's workshop.
