According to him, the attackers, whom he identified as persons from Egbor Community in Erei South, Biase Local Government Area, allegedly invaded farmland belonging to his community, Urugbam.
Philip Obin, a former media aide to ex-Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and current Special Adviser to Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu on Digital Economy Development, has alleged that armed men from Egbor Community in Biase Local Government Area attacked his community, leaving one person dead and several others injured.
Obin made the allegation in a post published on his Facebook page on Saturday night.
According to him, the attackers, whom he identified as persons from Egbor Community in Erei South, Biase Local Government Area, allegedly invaded farmland belonging to his community, Urugbam.
"Let it be on record that today, 4 July 2026, armed persons from Egbor Community in Erei South, Biase LGA, together with their collaborators, invaded the farmland of my community, Urugbam," Obin wrote.
