Four statues of TDP founder and former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao installed by his fan Arambakam Chandrasekhar using his own funds at his home in Moolapet in Nellore on Thursday.

The 103rd birth anniversary of TDP founder and former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao (NTR) was celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm across SPSR Nellore and Prakasam districts on Thursday.On the occasion, Arambakam Chandrasekhar, a 60-year-old dedicated fan, installed four statues of NTR at Moolapet in Nellore, using his own funds. These statues were created by D. Rajkumar Vudayar, an international sculptor from Kothapeta, near Rajamahendravaram.Nellore Municipal Commissioner Nandan was the chief guest at the celebrations. Awards were presented to 15 female employees in recognition of their contributions in various postions. As many as 200 people, including fans of NTR and Nandamuri Balakrishna, attended the event.Speaking to The Hindu, Mr. Chandrasekhar said, “NTR continues to command popularity and emotional connect with the people. I am urging the District Collector to allocate five acres to establish an NTR museum in the city.”The birth anniversary of NTR was also celebrated at Thikkana Pranganam in Nellore Collectorate. District Revenue Officer Vijay Kumar and several officials paid floral tributes to the portrait of NTR. He praised NTR as a great leader who showedcased the self-respect of the Telugu people to the world.Meanwhile, Prakasam District Collector P. Raja Babu, along with public representatives and other officials, paid floral tributes to the statue of NTR at Addanki Bus Stand Circle in Ongole. He lauded NTR for strengthening the pride of the Telugu people.Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy said, “NTR, who showed his versatility in acting, also stamped his mark in politics. He introduced many welfare schemes and stood as a pillar for the poor. Chief Minister N.
