Germany-based Dr Heinisch Agro Solutions India Pvt Ltd (HAS) and B+H Solutions have introduced advanced metallic-based nanotechnology using silver and copper formulations designed to improve crop health, strengthen plant resilience, reduce excessive chemical dependency, and support residue-free farming for Indian farmers. HAS is the Indian subsidiary of Germany-based B+H Solutions GmbH.The company plans to invest nearly €1 million in India in 2026 as part of its expansion strategy in the country’s nano-agriculture sector. The investment decision follows recent regulatory progress under India’s Fertiliser Control Order (FCO) framework for nano-based agricultural products.Founded in 2008 and headquartered near Stuttgart, Germany, B+H Solutions GmbH has been working in sustainable agriculture through advanced German nanotechnology. The company has developed innovative nano-based agricultural solutions such as AgroArgentum, AgroCuprum, AgroFerrum, and AgroCalcium.Will cut pesticide, chemical useA media statement said the company’s patented nanotechnology helps farmers reduce excessive pesticide and chemical usage while improving yield quality, root growth, shelf life, and overall farm productivity. One of the key focuses of the company’s technology is supporting residue-free and sustainable farming practices by helping farmers reduce unnecessary chemical load while improving overall crop health and produce quality.HAS India is working with farmers across Karnataka, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh through field demonstrations, awareness programmes, and crop trials.
