A conservative civic group filed a police complaint against members of the Democratic Party (DP) for allegedly calling the collapsed Seosomun Overpass, which took three lives and left three others injured, a political "opportunity" for the party campaign.
The Seomin Minsaeng Measures Committee (translated), a citizens' group that frequently files complaints against liberal political figures, submitted the case to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on charges of insult, defamation and defamation of the dead, the police said.
