Ride-hailing platform Bolt has launched a social impact campaign that turns everyday trips into support for vulnerable children and families in Nigeria, as part of this year’s Children’s Day activities.
The initiative, tagged ‘Rides That Care,’ is being run in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria and will run from May 27 to May 31. During this period, a portion of earnings from every eligible ride completed on the Bolt platform will be donated to support programmes focused on child care, family strengthening, and community development.

The idea is simple: passengers do not need to make any separate donations or take extra steps. Instead, their normal daily movements across cities automatically contribute to the cause.
SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria supports children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it. The organisation works to ensure they grow up in safe homes with access to education, protection, and long-term support systems.
