With the intensity of the summer heat increasing day by day, the Nandyal district police administration has implemented measures to safeguard the health of traffic police personnel who perform their duties standing on the roads in the heat.Superintendent of Police (SP) Suneel Sheoran distributed summer protection kits to the traffic police personnel at the District Police Office. The protection kits included UV protection goggles to protect the eyes from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays, caps to prevent direct exposure to the scorching sunlight, water bottles to facilitate continuous hydration, and face masks to protect the respiratory system from dust and pollution emitted by vehicles.On the occasion, the SP enquired about the welfare of the traffic staff and also sought details regarding their duties at various major intersections within Nandyal town.
