The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mysuru Zone will organise MYHOPE 2026 – Conference on Mysore Hospital Operations and Patient Experience on Friday in Mysuru, bringing together healthcare leaders, policymakers, technology providers and industry stakeholders to discuss the future of healthcare delivery and position the city as an emerging medical tourism destination.Held under the theme “Transforming Mysuru: From Traditional Care to Global Standards,” the conference aims to strengthen Mysuru’s role in advanced healthcare, patient experience, healthcare innovation and medical tourism while showcasing the city’s growing importance in South India’s healthcare ecosystem.The event is expected to attract around 100–150 delegates and feature more than 40 speakers representing hospitals, healthcare institutions, insurance companies, MedTech and pharmaceutical firms, AI-based healthcare companies, academia, engineering institutions, legal experts and ecosystem stakeholders from Karnataka and neighbouring States.Speaking about the initiative, Utsav Agarwal, Chairman, CII Mysuru Zone, said the conference has been conceived as a collaborative platform bringing together healthcare institutions, technology providers and industry leaders to shape the future of healthcare in Mysuru.He said the discussions would focus on patient-centric care, hospital operations, adoption of technology, affordability and healthcare innovation, while supporting efforts to establish Mysuru as a healthcare and medical tourism hub.Among the key speakers expected at the conference are Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dinesh Gundu Rao and Deputy Commissioner Lakshmikanth Reddy G.The conference agenda includes sessions on clinical excellence and emerging healthcare priorities, artificial intelligence and robotics in healthcare, service excellence, legal and regulatory issues, health insurance, healthcare investments in Tier-2 cities, and affordable people-centric healthcare models.According to organisers, MYHOPE 2026 is expected to contribute towards strengthening Mysuru’s profile as a future-ready healthcare destination and a potential medical tourism hub in South India.
