Mzamo Msani feel good story
At Durban University of Technology’s 2026 Autumn Graduation ceremony, one graduate’s story stood out as a touching reminder that dreams do not expire with age.
Forty-seven-year-old DUT driver Mzamo Msani proudly graduated with his first qualification, a Diploma in Operations Management, nearly three decades after completing matric.
For Mzamo, who is from Mthwalume on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, the moment carried years of sacrifice, perseverance and hope.
“It has always been my dream to earn a university qualification,” said Mzamo.
