Deep-tech aerospace company BluJ Aerospace, focused on the vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) space, has unveiled the Gen #2 prototype aircraft.Developed on VANTIS platform-based architecture and designed to scale across different VTOL variants spanning urban and regional transportation, with passenger mobility as the long-term destination, Gen #2 is the outcome of four years of in-house research and development.It follows Gen #1, the company’s technology demonstrator and India’s first public flight demonstration of a 500 kg class eVTOL aircraft. Gen #2 is now in active flight testing and makes BluJ as the closest-to-commercialisation heavy-payload aerial logistics company in India, the Hyderabad-based company said.
