According to a press release issued by the Command, “The Edo State Police Command, under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc has recorded another breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping and other violent crimes in the state.”
The Edo State Police Command has recorded what it described as another breakthrough in its sustained fight against kidnapping and other violent crimes across the state, following the arrest of three suspected kidnappers in Jattu, Etsako West Local Government Area.
According to a press release issued by the Command, “The Edo State Police Command, under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc has recorded another breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping and other violent crimes in the state.”
The statement announcing this was signed by Eno Ikoedem, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Edo State Command.
According to the police statement, the arrest took place on 15th May, 2026, at about 1750hrs, after the Divisional Police Officer of Jattu Division received credible intelligence regarding the presence of a suspected member of a kidnapping gang.
