If you've suspected your partner is cheating on you but aren't sure where to start looking, a private investigator has revealed a 'sneaky' iPhone trick that could expose them.Cassie Crofts, who runs a licensed private investigation service called Venus Investigations in Australia, gets paid to work on cases of unfaithful partners, whether it's stakeout surveillance work or background checks. The PI, who splits her time between New South Wales and Queensland, said there's a simple way she figures out whether a person is being unfaithful - and it all comes down to checking their texting history.'I've caught hundreds of cheaters and I have some information you probably need to know. Worried they're texting the ex? This handy little tip can help you catch a cheater,' Cassie said in a video.'If you open a new text message on a phone and under the 'To:' section, you put a full stop, it would come up with all the most recently texted numbers.'However, the private investigator warned you should only do this if you have 'explicit permission' to use their phone. 'We do not condone breaking into people's phones,' she said. Many were surprised to see the 'sneaky' trick worked, with one sharing: 'Wowsers! Just did it on my own iPhone and it was spot on.'Private investigator Cassie Crofts said when you open a new text message on an iPhone, under the 'To:' section, you put a full stop, it would come up with all the most recently texted numbers'That totally works! Love being able to see/check when I last sent a message to a particular person! Thanks for sharing,' another said. 'OMG! I deleted some of my messages and it still comes up with all of them! Wow,' one revealed. 'Damn it worked! Pretty impressive,' another added.Earlier this month, Cassie revealed the 'wildest way' she caught a man cheating on his wife using an Alexa device. She said she began working with a jilted wife who became suspicious of her husband for being unfaithful while she was away on work trips. Cassie said the wife was 'pretty savvy' as she knew all the warning signs to look out for - including coming home unexpectedly to see if she could catch her husband in the act and checking their joint bank accounts for any unusual spending.'So we're going down the list of things that we might be able to do before going into full surveillance,' the PI explained. But after finding nothing to prove her man was secretly having an affair, the private investigator asked the wife whether they owned an Alexa device because it has a hidden feature that may help uncover infidelity. One of Cassie's clients went through her Alexa's history, and much to her shock, found another woman's voice giggling in the background while she was away on work trips (stock image)'I said, "Do you have an Alexa device." They do... They both use it. I said, "Did you know that you can download Alexa's voice history?"' Cassie pointed out.The wife went through their history, and much to her shock, heard another woman's voice in the background that she did not recognise.'This poor woman checks the days that she was away on a work trip,' Cassie said. 'And she hears her partner multiple times throughout the night asking Alexa for things while a girl giggles in the background.'We caught the cheater in the wildest way... Technology is catching out more and more cheaters these days.'Alexa is a voice-activated AI assistant used to control smart home devices, stream music, set alarms, manage schedules and answer questions. But one of the features many don't know about is its voice history, which allows users to review, listen to or delete recordings from a specific date via the app.
