He then asked me to 'f**k off' and said that he can park wherever he feels like."He was also shouting at an older lady who told him to move the car from the beach," the witness added. "I used to work in St Ives, and local people have so much on their plate, like these farmers who should not waste time on this moron."She revealed that by 5pm the driver was still attempting to free the vehicle with the assistance of what is thought to be a local farmer. The exact route the motorist used to access the beach is relied upon by emergency services in life-saving situations - as it had been just 24 hours earlier. Officers were summoned by the ambulance service to the beach near Padstow at around 3.50pm on bank holiday Monday (May 25). A man was "suffering cardiac arrest in the sea" at Tregirls Beach after he entered the water in a bid to rescue two family members, according to police.Article continues belowThe family members were brought to safety by members of the public. Tragically, the man, who is a local resident in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
