A Texas driver has been arrested after he allegedly drove his Tesla Cybertruck EV intentionally into a lake near Dallas, where it became stuck.
Police said a man drove the electric pickup truck into Grapevine Lake, between Dallas and Fort Worth, on 18 May, telling them later he wanted to test its “Wade Mode” feature.
The vehicle became waterlogged, and those inside were forced to abandon it in shallow water near the south shore of the lake.
