The lawmaker representing Osun Central in the Senate, Olubiyi Fadeyi, has rejected the results of the party’s primary election, in which he lost the ticket for the 2027 general elections.
Olubiyi made this known in a statement he personally signed, obtained in Osogbo on Tuesday.
PUNCH Online reports that the chairman of Osun APC National Assembly primary election committee, Mr Bayo Ayo, who read the result, said that Adekunle Adegoke (SAN) won the primary, defeating Fabiyi and three others.
Ayo further said, “Adegoke polled 26,655 votes to emerge victorious, while Fadeyi received 13,138 votes.”
