OTTAWA—With Liberal MPs expressing concern about his environmental record, Prime Minister Mark Carney said the government is making real progress on climate action and most of his caucus is onside.
Carney confirmed a Radio-Canada report from Friday that 14 Liberal MPs sent him a letter in April, expressing concerns the government was compromising its credibility on the environment as it watered down or simply rescinded many Trudeau-era policies. The Star has not obtained a copy of the letter.
