Some of the industry’s most prestigious and recognizable high jewelry brands and independent designers exhibit at the show, including Roberto Coin, Mikimoto and Marco Bicego.The Couture Show will be held May 27–31.This year, Couture has expanded many of its offerings, including a partnership with the Geneva-based fair Time to Watches, which owns and operates an horology fair in Switzerland for independent, heritage and avant-garde watch brands. The concept attracted 18 watch brands. The most recognizable name is Baume & Mercier. The remainder of the lineup leans heavily toward independent and niche brands, several of which have built strong followings among collectors.Several live discussions will take place during the fair, beginning with Trendvision founder Paola De Luca, who will host a session titled “Decoding Convergences in the Global Jewelry Market” on May 28.The next day, De Beers will sponsor a live podcast recording on the subject of “New Voices in Bridal,” featuring designers Nicole Carosella of Sorellina, David Farrugia of Uniform Object, Hiba Husayni of ZAHN-Z and Sally Morrison of De Beers.
