The Senate has elected Senators Rodante Marcoleta and Jinggoy Estrada as vice chairmen of the Senate Committee on Accountability of Public Officers and Investigations, or the Blue Ribbon Committee.Named to the committee as members were Sen. Bong Go, Sen. Robin Padilla, Sen. Camille Villar, Sen. Mark Villar, Sen. Chiz Escudero, and Sen. Imee Marcos.The Senate last week elected Sen. Pia Cayetano as the chairman of the Blue Ribbon Committee, previously chaired by Sen. Panfilo Lacson.Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, meanwhile, was elected vice chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance. Gatchalian was the previous chairman of the committee that goes through the proposed national budget.All senators except the Senate President and those serving in an ex officio capacity were elected members of the committee.Sen.
