Police are investigating both incidents
Six men were shot dead in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, in two separate attacks about six hours apart, police said. The two shootings occurred on Sunday night and during the early hours of Monday.
Police spokesperson Colonel André Traut said the first incident occurred in an informal dwelling in Khonkxa Street, Makhaza, at about 7.30pm on Sunday.
He said three men, aged between 20 and 24, were gunned down.
"Family members reportedly heard gunshots and found the victims with gunshot wounds inside the structure," Traut said.
