We’ve gone from wearing our winter coats, to scrabbling around to clean the garden furniture in what feels like a heartbeat. With temperatures soaring this bank holiday and into the week ahead, it’s a good idea to give your drinking a spring refresh, too. Wintry reds can finally take a back seat, and let their fresher friends step forward.
If you’re a regular shopper in Aldi, you may have noticed that their wine range has shrunk; it’s not your eyes playing tricks on you. While the range may be slight, there are still some great value offerings that deserve to land in your trolley.
From zippy whites, to chillable reds, a pleasing “sunset” wine and a plump BBQ beauty, these are the wines I’d recommend if you found me lingering in the wine aisle (which I’ve definitely been known to do in my local Aldi.)
