MAKKAH: Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel recently inspected the readiness of health services for Hajj pilgrims in Makkah, reviewing a range of innovations and technologies presented by key health entities.

The National Unified Procurement Co. showcased drones for rapid medical supply delivery, while the Saudi Food and Drug Authority displayed monitoring vehicles equipped with refrigerators and body cameras.

The health minister also reviewed advanced technologies used by the SFDA for food factories and warehouses in Makkah.

The Health Holding Co. presented advanced systems for ambulance fleet and medical triage management, including electric ambulance bicycles.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority presented its operational fleet of more than 3,000 ambulance units, including rapid intervention vehicles, electric golf carts, motorcycles, and 11 ambulance aircraft for critical cases.
