Saudi interior minister inspects health, crowd management readiness at holy sites
MAKKAH: Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif on Thursday inspected several projects and facilities in the holy sites as part of tours to monitor preparations for Hajj.
During a visit to Mina Emergency Hospital 2, Prince Abdulaziz, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, reviewed the progress of health, medical, and emergency services provided to pilgrims.
He toured several medical and emergency departments and examined patient reception procedures, plans for handling reports and critical cases, the hospital’s operational capacity, and treatment and preventative services available to pilgrims.
Prince Abdulaziz was also briefed on the level of integration between medical teams, emergency responders, and support services.
