The NATO–Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC), together with the NATO Modelling and Simulation Centre of Excellence (MNIOE), will hold a seminar next week focused on countering hostile psychological operations (PsyOp).
According to Ukrinform, JATEC reported this.
The seminar aims to test innovative technologies and methodologies for training strategic communicators, including specialists in strategic communications and information operations.
The training will be built around a NATO-developed digital game Cohesion, which simulates interagency strategic communications in modern multi-domain environments. The exercise will be conducted as a simulation involving public authorities and society, bringing together communicators and experts from various government sectors.
JATEC notes that the event engages Ukrainian experts’ experience in assessing and sharing methods of countering information and psychological operations currently used by Russia, which are identified as a major threat to NATO’s information environment and societal resilience.
