New NBI office, training center open in Albay

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) inaugurated on Thursday its new regional office and training center in Rawis village here.

The facility was inaugurated by NBI Director Lawyer Melvin Matibag, Bicol Regional Director Atty. Yehlen Agus, Legazpi Mayor Hisham Ismail, and Alfredo Garbin Jr. of Ako Bicol party-list.

Funded by the national government, the P250-million structure is expected to strengthen the agency’s operations and training capabilities in the Bicol Region.
