MANILA, Philippines — The International Criminal Court (ICC) is set to issue arrest warrants for “several” other personalities linked to the previous administration’s drug war, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag revealed on Saturday.

Matibag made the statement when asked if the NBI would apply the same arrest protocols to other co-perpetrators if the ICC issues more warrants, similar to the one currently out for Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

NBI protocol

He said the NBI follows a protocol in serving the warrant, regardless of the personality and the crimes allegedly committed. He noted that the NBI was ready to enforce and serve the arrest warrant should it be issued.
