Lower generation charges bring down May power rates in Bohol

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — Consumers of Bohol Light Company, Inc. will see lower electricity bills this May after the company announced a significant reduction in power rates for residential and commercial customers.

In its advisory on Friday, Bohol Light said residential electricity rates for May 2026 were set at P10.5081 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), while commercial consumers will pay P9.9291/kWh.

The new rates are P2.0068/kWh lower compared to the rates imposed in April 2026.
