Investigators hunt suspects in Kruger Park killing of elderly tourists.
Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for suspects following the brutal killing of two tourists whose bodies were discovered near Cross Corner at the intersection of the Levubu and Limpopo River in the Kruger National Park.
According to SAPS Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba, a white male aged 71, and a white female whose identity is still being confirmed, reportedly arrived at one of the Camps in the Kruger National Park on Sunday, driving a green Ford Ranger double cab.
The pair was last seen on Wednesday morning, May 20, at the Pafuri picnic site. A search operation was launched after they failed to return.
"The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this stage, and the police have opened two counts of murder and hijacking for further investigation."
