MANILA — Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong said Saturday that the House prosecution team is making the necessary steps to fight against any rise in misinformation and disinformation (fake news) in the anticipated impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

On top of its preparation for the trial itself, the team is looking at measures to combat the spread of fake news, which Adiong identified as one of the biggest challenges the prosecution is expected to face leading up to the proceedings.
